My name is Elias Carroni, I am 25 years old and I was born in Nuoro, a little town in the centre of Sardinia, where I lived untill august 2009.
After my high school studies at the local Liceo Scientifico, I began my university studies in the same town, at the Nuoro branch office of “Politics Science” of the Università degli Studi di Cagliari.
The approach towards the study of my first exam of Economics (Political Economics), very well passed, made me immediately curious and encouraged me to deepen this kind of studies; also my professor encouraged me to undertake economics studies suggesting to me the enrolment in a Economics College.
Studying at the “Università degli Studi di Sassari” I have discovered my passion and my attitude for economics studies, theoretical models and mathematics applied to economics; here I achieved my three-years degree in “Economics” on June 2007 and on September I started my master degree in “Economics and new technologies”: I finished this last course in the 9th of July 2009, with the discussion of the thesis “Education choises with incomplete information”. Especially during the last two years of my master degree, my attitude has been noticed also by professors, who with theirs judgments have gave me a further consciousness useful to deepen my economics knowledge.
After this approach to economics , and my interest and desire of knowledge raising , I would like to continue my studies in a phd. At the moment I am attending a second year master degree at Universitè Catholique of Louvain-la-neuve.
