Mariano Russo

Mariano Russo is born in Verbania (Italy) on the 30th April 1998. He begins his musical studies (piano and musical theory) at the age of 12, then he attends musical high school “P.Gobetti” in Omegna (VB) where he studies piano, violin, composition, electronic music and history of music. He gets the diploma with a score of 100/100 and now he is studying Composition with Alessandro Solbiati
at the “G.Verdi” Conservatory in Milan. In 2020 he graduates in Cultural Heritadge at the University of Milan with a score of 110/110 cum laude. In 2018 and 2019 he attends the summer Composition Masterclasses in Sermoneta where his work is selected to be played in France by
ATMusica ensemble in their 2020/21 season; in the same occasion he receives a committee from Pontino Festival,for a work to be broadcasted on the national radio "Rai Radio 3". In 2019 he wins the European composition contest “Galleria di Arte Moderna” in Milan, promoted by Marcello Abbado.
